The covid-19 outbreak led to the closing of schools across the UK last month, with the exception of vulnerable children and those of key workers. With many parents now juggling work and caring responsibilities, Nike and ukactive Kids have launched Move Crew, a set of activity missions designed to help kids get their recommended 60 minutes of daily activity.

Working with partners across the sports, activity and education sectors, Move Crew was created for children aged between seven and twelve to complete fun, daily activity missions either at home or at school.

The weekly sessions will be published every Monday morning at 8am, with a new theme and mission.

Week one’s theme is “Power of the Team” and features UK sprinter Dina Asher-Smith and 12-year-old sprinter, Savannah McKenzie Morgan.

The Move Crew programme can be found at www.ukactivekids.com/movecrew and on ukactive’s Youtube Channel.

Being active is about finding out what works for you. We can help you find loads of great activities to choose from, however fit (or unfit) you think you feel.
